Gelişim psikolojisi içinde sanatçının kişiliği, çocuğun yaş basamaklarıyla kıyaslanabilir ve bizzat sanat eseri, resim veya bir başka ürün olarak yaşa uygun olup olmadığı açısından değerlendirilir.
