  • Description: Kriza uzrokovana pandemijom koronavirusa različito je utjecala na razne sektore i poduzeća. To ovisi o nizu čimbenika, među ostalim o mogućnosti prilagodbe poremećajima u lancu opskrbe ali i o zalihama ili proizvodnji bez zaliha. U gotovo svim zemljama, nastojanja za reagiranjem na krizu trajala su gotovo dvije godine te su se ulagali napori za ublažavanjem potrebnog medicinskog materijala i osiguravanjem kontinuiteta poslovanja i sigurnosti zaposlenika. Takva kriza jedinstvena je u povijesti, a odlikuju je jedinstveni faktori poput brzog i globalnog širenja. Za razliku od prethodnih recesija i depresija, a glavni uzrok nije dolazio iz financijskog i gospodarskog sustava. Zaštita zdravlja stanovništva i žurnom poduzimanju brojnih zdravstvenih mjera, dovelo je do naglog zaustavljanja gospodarskih i financijskih tokova na lokalnoj i globalnoj razini. Ovim radom se objasnio pojam krize, njezini uzroci i faze, instrumenti za prevladavanje i izlazak iz krize te kako je cjelokupna krizna situacija utjecala na poslovanje malih i srednjih poduzeća u Republici Hrvatskoj. Cilj rada je bio prikazati neophodnost kriznog vodstva i menadžmenta na oblikovanje strategije i donošenje odluka za ovladavanje i nastavak rada poduzeća uz analizu uspješnosti poslovanja na temelju financijskih pokazatelja i kvantitativne analize poslovanja malog poduzeća Sofa IT d.o.o. uz korištenje financijskih izvještaja. Analizom se pokazalo da je poduzeće uspješno savladalo izazove krize. Tijekom pandemije, donesene su strateške odluke, uključujući očuvanje radnih mjesta i fizičko vraćanje radnika u urede. Osim toga, poduzeće je razvilo novi proizvod, proširilo suradnju s kladionicama te odbilo ponude za prodaju, što je rezultiralo rastom i daljnjim uspjehom poduzeća. The impact brought about by the coronavirus pandemic has had varying effects on different sectors and companies. These effects are contingent on a range of factors, which include the capacity to adapt to supply chain disruptions and the nature of production, whether with or without stocks. Across nearly all nations, efforts to respond to the crisis spanned nearly two years, with a focus on mitigating shortages of medical supplies and ensuring business continuity and employee well-being. This crisis is historically unparalleled, marked by distinctive attributes, such as its swift and global proliferation. Unlike prior economic downturns, the root cause did not originate from the financial or economic system. The paramount priority was safeguarding public health, which necessitated the swift implementation of various health measures, resulting in a sudden halt of economic and financial activities at both local and global levels. This paper elucidated the concept of a crisis, its underlying causes, progression stages, and the strategies employed for surmounting and recovering from crises. Additionally, it delved into the ways in which the overall crisis scenario impacted the operations of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Republic of Croatia. The aim of the paper was to show the necessity of crisis leadership and management for strategy formation and decision-making for the mastery and continuation of the company's work, along with the analysis of business performance based on financial indicators and quantitative analysis of the business of the small company Sofa IT d.o.o. with the use of financial statements. The analysis showed that the company successfully overcame the challenges of the crisis. During the pandemic, strategic decisions were made, including preserving jobs and physically returning workers to offices. In addition, the company developed a new product, expanded cooperation with bookmakers and rejected sales offers, which resulted in the growth and further success of the company.
