  • Mô tả: Soft calendering technology continues to evolve into a key papermakers tool in both on- and off-machine applications. Far from stagnating as a technology with little in the way of technical innovations or improvements, new developments in the last couple of years have again recently begun to be commercialized. The most innovative development is the commercialization of multi-roll hot soft calendering, ushering in an era of combining soft calendering with supercalendering. The key aspect of this is bringing the finishing possible with supercalendering up to ever faster paper machine speeds, while also providing papermakers a means to meet ever-rising quality demands.
