  • Description:   Ross Coyle has been appointed to the permanent position of chief financial officer (CFO) of Kingsgate Consolidated Ltd. Mr Coyle was appointed interim CFO following the departure of the previous incumbent and has accepted the board's offer to take on the role on a permanent basis. He joined Kingsgate in March 2011 as general manager Finance & Administration and was also appointed company secretary in September 2011. He is a Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA) and has 31 years' experience in finance and accounting within the resource industry, including 15 years as finance director of Dominion Mining Ltd. Shaun Menezes has been appointed as company secretary of Mount Magnet South NL and replaces Susmit Shah. Mr Menezes is an accounting and finance professional with over 15 years' experience including 12 years at a leading national accounting firm, and three years' commercial experience across a range of industry sectors with a primary focus on the mineral resource sector. Warren Stretton has announced his retirement as a director of Australian Unity Ltd with effect from December 31. Mr Stretton was appointed to the board of Australian Unity in March 2005, following the merger with Grand United Friendly Society Ltd. His career at Grand United included the roles of financial controller from 1989 to 1993, and managing director/chief executive officer from 1993 to 2005. During this 16-year tenure, Mr Stretton was instrumental in developing and focusing the operations of Grand United on the private health insurance and aged care sectors.
