  • Description: Rare wild animals refer to a very small number of animals that survive in their natural state and are not artificially domesticated. China has wide distribution of people, wide area and rich species, and has a unique living environment for the wild animals which provides advantages for the survival and reproduction of wild animals. However, with the economic development and urban construction continue to expand, human beings have more or less impact on the ecological environment while pursuing economic benefits. The number of rare wild animals is decreasing, and some cherish species are on the verge of extinction. The area of the nature reserve is threatened by shrinkage. Faced with the grim reality, the relevant state departments attach great importance to it. A series of laws and regulations have been introduced for protecting rare wild animals, and professionals are organized to protect endangered species. However, it is especially important to let the public know the relevant information in a timely, full and comprehensive. The protection and publicity of wildlife has become a key step. Sometimes, the lack of visual expression and appeal of information content has caused viewers to ignore and dislike the information content, resulting in unsatisfactory communication effects. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to explore the improvement of the wildlife protection propaganda information quality on the basis of visual design theory, and to analyze the problems and solutions in the process of production promotion with visual design as the starting point. This paper will use the specific analysis method of specific problems to compare the data and draw conclusions. The results of the study show that adopting high-quality visual design effects and visibility increases public acceptance by 21%. Design propaganda information has certain regularity and particularity, but there are also lag and blindness. Therefore, visual designers should understand the characteristics and difficulties of propaganda information, actively improve and rectify relevant measures to jointly protect the sustainable development of wild animals.
