Description:
An antimicrobial agents containing a thermoplastic resin and organic microbial particles dispersed in the resin and having the content of inorganic particles showing a shape factor 2 of 200 or below SF2: defined as SF2=100piL2/4A, wherein L represents the peripheral length of a plane image of an inorganic antimicrobial particle confirmed by observing a section of the inorganic antimicrobial particle under a scanning electron microscope and A represents the area of the plane image calculated in accordance with the following formula of 80% or more: content %=100 x number of inorganic antimicrobial particles showing SF2 of 200 or below/number of all inorganic antimicrobial particles employed in calculating SF2. When the inorganic antimicrobial agent is dispersed in a base resin of an antimicrobial molded resin article, the dispersibility of the inorganic antimicrobial particles can be improved owing to this structure wherein the inorganic antimicrobial particles are dispersed in the thermoplastic resin. In this inorganic antimicrobial agent, moreover, aggregation and uneven distribution of the inorganic antimicrobial particles in the thermoplastic resin are sufficiently prevented and thus the inorganic antimicrobial particles are uniformly dispersed in the thermoplastic resin. L'invention concerne des agents antimicrobiens contenant une résine thermoplastique et des particules microbiennes organiques dispersées dans la résine et dont la teneur en particules inorganiques montre un facteur de forme 2 de 200 au maximum (SF2 : défini comme SF2=100 pi L2/(4A) où L représente la longueur périphérique d'une image plate d'une particule antimicrobienne inorganique vérifiée par l'observation d'une section de la particule antimicrobienne inorganique dans un microscope électronique à balayage ; et A représente la zone de l'image plate) calculé d'après la formule suivante de 80 % ou plus : teneur (%) =100 x (nombre de particules antimicrobiennes inorganiques montrant un SF2 de 200 ou plus)/(nombre de toutes les particules antimicrobiennes inorganiques utilisées dans le calcul de SF2). Lorsque l'agent antimicrobien inorganique est dispersé dans une résine de base d'un article de résine moulé antimicrobien, la dispersibilité des particules antimicrobiennes inorganiques peut être améliorée grâce à cette structure, dans laquelle les particules antimicrobiennes inorganiques sont dispersées dans la résine thermoplastique. Dans cet agent antimicrobien inorganique, on évite l'agrégation et la distribution irrégulière des particules antimicrobiennes inorganiques dans la résine thermoplastique et de ce fait, les particules antimicrobiennes inorganiques sont uniformément dispersées dans la résine thermoplastique.
