Description:
The present invention relates to a scaffold for cell culture including a flat microfiber and a method for manufacturing the same. According to several embodiments of the present invention, the flat microfiber of the present invention has a flat and uniform surface, and thus solves problems in that there is a low possibility of fixing cells on a surface of an existing round microfiber, and existing cell researches under the 2D environment are hardly applied to the existing round microfiber due to the curvature radius of the fiber surface thereof. Furthermore, the flat microfiber of the present invention facilitates the growth of cells and the observation of cells, can control the aspect ratio (width to length ratio) of a pattern and a fiber, facilitates the change in the fiber shape depending on the kind of tissue to be regenerated, and can copy nervous tissues which are formed in a bundle and muscle tissues which are uniformly arranged, and thus can be useful as a scaffold for biological tissue engineering.
