  • Description: 본 발명은 평활근-22α(smooth muscle-22 alpha)의 활성을 억제하여 암세포의 사멸을 촉진하는 방법 및 평활근-22α의 활성 억제제를 유효성분으로 포함하는 항암제에 관한 것으로, 평활근-22α의 활성 억제는 평활근-22α의 mRNA에 상보적으로 결합하는 안티센스 뉴클레오티드, 평활근-22α 단백질에 결합하는 펩티드 미메틱스, 및 항체로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 활성 억제제를 통해 이루어진다. 본 발명의 평활근-22α의 활성 억제 방법 및 활성 억제제는 암세포의 세포 사멸 효과를 촉진하여 항암 치료에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
