Description: The invention discloses a moxibustion stick and a preparation method thereof. The moxibustion stick is prepared from, by weight, 200-400 parts of aged moxa, 3-5 parts of Herba Agastaches, 1-3 parts ofHerba Saussurea, 2-4 parts of Seman Sinapis Albae, 3-5 parts of Radix Aconiti Carmichaeli, 5-8 parts of Flos Carthami, 5-8 parts of Cortex Cinnamomi and 1-3 parts of Lignum Aquilariae Resinatum. By thermal and heating power of moxibustion flame and action of medicines, strong stimulation of acupoints can be realized, effectiveness and quickness in blood circulation promoting, stasis removing, pain alleviating and human vigor tonifying can be realized, and accordingly cold dispelling, damp dissipating and Qi and blood warming and nourishing are realized.
