Description:
Disclosed is an intelligent pairing method and system for parent and child routers. The method includes the following steps: S1, controlling the child router and the parent router to be powered up, controlling the parent router to turn on a first hot spot and a hidden hot spot, and controlling the child router to turn on a second hot spot; S2, controlling the child router to connect to the hiddenhot spot, and making the child router obtain the first hot spot; and S3, determining whether the first hot spot and the second hot spot are consistent, and if the first hot spot and the second hot spot are consistent, judging that the pairing succeeds, or changing the second hot spot to make the pairing succeed. According to the method of the invention, a hidden hot spot is added to the parent router, the child router connects to the hidden hot spot by default, and a hot spot name and a hot spot password provided by the parent router to a user are automatically obtained.
