  • Description: A finales de la Primera Guerra Mundial, tras producirse un flujo migratorio del campo la ciudad, el número de viviendas construidas tanto en el Casco histórico como el Ensanche apenas varió mientras que las edificadas en el Extrarradio se implicaron. Resultado de aquell hecho fue tanto que el Ayuntamiento asumiera que la falta de vivienda era un problema municipal como que la Patronal de la construcción viera la construcción de viviendas económicas como gran negocio. Todo ello cuando la preocupación de los arquitectos era, todavía, debatir sobre un posible el estilo nacional.
