  • Description: PURPOSE:To obtain a material to be recorded of high performance having a rapid ink absorption, by a method wherein; in the material to be recorded, a dynamic modulus of rigidity when measured by a torsional free damping vibration method is determined more than a specific value and a dot is so formed by an ink drip to meet a specific formula. CONSTITUTION:In a material to be recorded having a surface to be recorded mainly made of fiber, a dynamic modulus of rigidity is so determined as to be 2.0X10 dyne/cm or more when being measured by a torsional free damping vibration method and a dot is so formed as to meet the formula, 0.65XL<-10.88. [But, S designates a dot area (mum ) and L designates a maximum distance (mum) between two points on a periphery of a dot.] The material to be recorded consists mainly of a wood pulp and a pigment. It is preferable that the wood pulp is fractionated using a cyclone or a mesh and enhanced inside in fibrillation. The pigment is made of, for example, silica, clay, diatom earth, calcium carbonate, and preferably of 0.05-50mum in average particle diameter to impart a good ink absorption and degree of bleeding.
