  • Mô tả: The Stanley Rule & Level plant of the Stanley Works formally announced in the September 1, 1933 catalog in the new Stanley Tools Catalog No. 34 insert that the company now had a new tool for slitting, grooving, and beveling fiber board. The physical characteristics and use of board types varied from manufacturer to manufacturer, but in general, it is an engineered sheet product made of steam-cooked and pressure-molded wood fibers. Chapman's patented plane consisted of a main body with a flat bed with two knobs, and a provision for attachments to hold razor cutters at vertical, horizontal, or 45° angles to cut "V" grooves, shiplap joints, and vertical cuts to fiber boards. On the sides, casting protru- sions allowed tor two 8" arms to be screwed into the side so that a fence attached to a slide could be mounted to guide the particular attachment while cutting the fiber board.
