  • Description: Sabuktigin is regarded as the true founder and first ruler of the state, after Alptegin, who laid the foundations of the Ghaznavid State. Sabuktigin, who had an important place in the history of the Ghaznavid State, was bought by Alptigin in Bukhara and married to his daughter. Sabuktigin rose rapidly, thanks to the tasks he received in the palace of Samani and Alptegin's support, and eventually occupied the throne of the Ghaznavid state. After Sabuktigin dispatched the confusions in the Ghaznavid state, he started a campaign to India. Sabuktigin has gained significant success in India, and added strength to his power.
