  • Description: U radu je ispitano uklanjanje zagađivala iz efluenta proizvodnje mehanički mljevene drvenjače sorpcijom na prirodne i sintetske alumosilikate. Rabljeni su klinoptilolitni tuf, mordenitni tuf, sintetski zeolit A, sintetski zeolit tipa mordenita i bentonit. Uzorci alumosilikata su različito modificirani. Od alumosilikata najveću učinkovitost sorpcije polutanata iz otpadne vode pokazao je uzorak kiselo modificiranog sintetskog zeolita tipa mordenita (učinkovitost sorpcije je 47%). Od uzoraka klinoptilolitnog tufa modificiranih ugljikohidratima najbolji se pokazao uzorak modificiran glukozom (učinkovitost sorpcije je 11%). Karbonizacijom ugljikohidrata na površini tufa dodatno se povećava učinkovitost sorpcije. Povećanje je vrlo slabo zbog malog udjela ugljika na površini tufa. Učinkovitost sorpcije od 11% dobivena je i s željezovim (II) sulfatom modificiranim tufom. Aktivni ugljen i heksadeciltrimetilamonijevim ionima modificirani uzorci klinoptilolitnog tufa pokazuju sličnu učinkovitost sorpcije (~ 30%). The study analyzed how to remove contaminants from the effluent of mechanically produced wood pulp with sorption on natural and synthetic alumosilikate. There was used a clinoptilolite tuff, a tuff mordenit, a synthetic zeolite A, a mordenite type of synthetic zeolite and bentonite. Samples of aluminosilicate were variously modified. The highest efficiency of sorption of pollutants from wastewater showed a sample of acid modified synthetic zeolitetype mordenite (efficiency of sorption is 47%). The best carbohydrate modified clinoptiolite tuf reveal the one with glucose (sorption efficiency is 11%). Carbonization of carbohydrates on the surface of zeolites further increases the efficiency of sorption. The increase was very low because of the small share of carbon on the surface of the tuff. Sorption efficiency of 11% was obtained also with iron (II) sulfate modified tuff. Activated carbon and samples of clinoptiolite tuff modified with HDTMA ion show similar sorption efficiency (~ 30%).
