WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS NETWORKS
Description:
Methods, apparatus, and systems are provided for synchronising device state information between a first platform, a second platform and a plurality of devices remotely controlled for communication by the first and second platforms. An indication of the status of a device of the plurality of devices is received based on traffic associated with the device communicating over a communication network. On receiving the indication, it is determined whether first device state information of the device stored by the first platform and second device state information of the device stored by the second platform are correlated with the received status indication of the device. One or more device state update actions are triggered for at least one of the corresponding first platform, the second platform and/or the device when at least one of the first and second device state information is uncorrelated with the received status indication of the device. Devices may be IoT devices remotely controlled and the state information may comprise configuration data such as SIM or eSIM profiles.
