  • Description: I have $10,000 which I wish to place in a permanent investment to remain undisturbed ten or fifteen years. My first thought was to put it in a registered government bond, but I have been wondering if I could beat it by investing in some good stock, say about $2000 each of American Telephone, Atchison, Baldwin, Studebaker and U.S. Steel. I want something perfectly safe and would appreciate your advice.
