  • Description: The aim of this study is to focus on a model in which non financial sector firms can determine the credit rating scores by themselves without appealing to banks and independent credit rating agencies. İn the research the ratios and the weights to be used in the credit ratings are determined based on the Analytical Network Process Approach and the Super Decision model. The results of the surveys conducted with banking sector employees working in intelligence, financial analysis and credit rating departments of the banks have been used in order to create paired comparison matrix in order to determine weights. After determining the raito weights, the ratings from independent rating agencies and the results gained from the study for the firms have been compared. It has been determined that the ratings from independent rating agencies and the ratings gained from the study are consistent. It is believed that the credit rating method suggested in the study can be used for all the firms and firms can determine their score just by changing their sector quartiles. Moreover, thanks to such a simple method suggested in the study, firms can determine their scores by themselves without having to pay to much to the independent rating agencies or banks and it is thought to be a reference fort he involved.
