Šetří čas, ale ničí nervy v okamžiku, kdy je nutně potřeba a přitom nefunguje spojení. Praha má nejhustší telefonní síť, každoročně přibývá 10 000 stanic a stále to nestačí. Staré telefonní ústředny jsou přetížené, chybí dostatek kvalifikovaných pracovníků i náhradních dílů na opravy. Další problémy nastávají při opravách domů. Kde jsou telefonní kabely nataženy na fasádě. Po odstranění lešení je často nacházíme poškozené. Stejně tak mnoho kabelů se poškodí při rekonstrukci vozovek. Obyvatelé nových sídlišť zase čekají, až se tam vybudují chybějící telefonní ústředny. Telephone is an indispensable invention. It saves time but also gets on nerves when you can't get connected in case of emergency. Prague has a telephone network of the highest density, 10 000 new stations are made annually and it isn't still enough. Old telephone centrals are overloaded; there are not enough skilled workers as well as spare parts for the repairs. Further problems arise when repairing houses, where the telephone cables are located on the facade. They are often damaged after the removal of the scaffolding. The same number of cables is damaged during the reconstruction of roads.
