  • Description: The present investigation was oriented to the economic-financial analysis to determine the viability of the production and commercialization of fruits native to the Amazon in syrup in the city of Puyo. To base the work, the operation of the plant where the place of production was established was analyzed; being a comfortable, cozy place with a storage room for the raw material and the elaborated product. In addition, an economic analysis was conducted where reliable accounting data was obtained to determine the economic feasibility of the investment; Also, the income and expenses of the production of fruits in syrup projected to five years were determined. In the cash flow, the operational movements were made known daily and finally the financial statements were projected. Once the accounting and budgetary data was obtained, the financial analysis was carried out, where the economic feasibility of the investment was obtained taking into account the value of the money over time. For this, the net present value was 23,186.73 and an internal rate was calculated. of return of 27%. This showed that the investment is acceptable, and the capital recovery will be within three years and eight months approximately. After the analysis, it was concluded that the research project has economic feasibility for the implementation of the business, which would imply being the pioneers in the launch of this product in the domestic market. MSC 62P20, 37M10, 62M10, 91B84 KEY WORDS: Investment study, net present value, internal rate of return, neutrosophic number La presente investigación estuvo orientada al análisis económico - financiero para determinar la viabilidad de la producción y comercialización de frutas oriundas de la Amazonia conservadas en almíbar en la ciudad el Puyo. Para fundamentar el trabajo se analizó la operación de la planta donde se estableció el lugar de producción; siendo un lugar cómodo, acogedor y con una bodega de almacenamiento para la materia prima y el producto elaborado. Además, se realizó un análisis económico donde se obtuvo datos contables confiables para determinar la factibilidad económica de la inversión; también, se determinó los ingresos y egresos de la producción de las frutas en almíbar proyectados a cinco años. En el flujo de efectivo se dio a conocer diariamente los movimientos operacionales y por último se proyectaron los estados financieros. Una vez obtenido los datos contables y presupuestarios se realizó el análisis financiero donde se obtuvo la factibilidad económica de la inversión teniendo en cuenta el valor del dinero en el tiempo, para esto se calculó el valor actual neto es de 23.186,73 y una tasa interna de retorno del 27%. Esto demostró que la inversión es aceptable, y la recuperación del capital será dentro de tres años y ocho meses aproximadamente. Culminado el análisis se concluyó que el proyecto investigativo tiene viabilidad económica para la implementación del.
