Description: After exposure to dilute diesel exhaust, men with coronary disease had increased exercise-induced myocardial ischemia, along with depressed fibrinolytic function. The data reported suggest possible mechanisms for the detrimental effect of air pollution from traffic in patients with coronary disease.
