  • Description: See "Weber.1967_Data_Management_&_Description" files for descriptions of each dataset and references to the original thesis. This dataset includes archived and transcribed data from Wayne C. Weber's (1970) MSc dissertation, "Birds in cities: A study of populations, foraging ecology and nest-sites of urban birds". The data was transcribed and formatted into a usable form as part of a Living Data Project internship (https://www.ciee-icee.ca/data.html). These datasets include bird survey data, vegetation censuses, nesting data, as well as weather and precipitation data at various urban sites in Vancouver, BC, Ottawa, ON, and Sacramento, California, in the years 1968-1970.
