  • Description: “The promotion of language rights in time of crisis” The serious health emergency has continued to affect all areas of action of the administration, including the promotion of the Catalan language and language policy. Meanwhile, controversy has remained over language unity and the use of official languages in areas as sensitive as education and health. In the jurisdictional field, controversies have been resolved on knowledge of the Catalan language in the field of the civil service. At the end of the year, the Office of Linguistic Rights of the Balearic Islands is set up to help strengthen linguistic security.
