  • Description: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crushing method of biomass capable of highly efficiently performing the crushing treatment of the biomass without chemical treatment, with reduced energy consumption and with friendliness to a human body and environment.SOLUTION: In a crushing method of biomass in the coexistence of a solvent, an organic solvent having a dielectric constant of 30 or more or a liquid where water is mixed in the organic solvent having a dielectric constant of 30 or more is used as the solvent; and a slurry produced by mixing the biomass with the solvent is crushed. The solvent is ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate or butylene carbonate. The biomass is plant-based biomass and crushed so as to have an average particle diameter of 1 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】バイオマスの粉砕処理を、化学処理すること無くかつエネルギー消費を少なくして、人体および環境に対して優しく、高効率で行なうことを可能とするバイオマスの粉砕方法の提供。【解決手段】溶媒共存下でバイオマスを粉砕する方法であって、溶媒として比誘電率が３０以上の有機溶媒または前記比誘電率が３０以上の有機溶媒に水を混合した液を使用し、前記バイオマスと前記溶媒とを混合させて作ったスラリーを粉砕するバイオマスの粉砕方法。前記溶媒がエチレンカーボネート、プロピレンカーボネート又はブチレンカーボネートであり、前記バイオマスが植物系バイオマスであり、平均粒子径を１μｍ以下に粉砕するバイオマスの粉砕方法。【選択図】図１
