  • Description: THIS MONOGRAPH reports the results of a research project conducted by the authors at the Center of Economic Research in Greece. The findings indicate that the increasing production of fruits and vegetables in Greece will likely exceed domestic demand and that greater exports will be sought as a means of disposing of the surplus. Export markets will be able to absorb the increasing quantities of fruits and vegetables from Greece as well as other suppliers, but buyers will be seeking quality products.
