  • Description: The results showed a significant and positive relationship between parental socio-economic level of the students, the amount of internet usage, the duration of membership in social networks, simplicity and ease of access to social networks, the amount of usage of close people (friends and family), the need for progress, satisfaction of needs and the tendency toward virtual social networks. The results of multiple regressions shows a significant effect of five variables including the amount of internet usage, the simplicity and ease of access to the social networks, the duration of membership in social networks, satisfaction of needs and the amount of usage of close people from social networks on Shahrekord high school teenage girls’ tendency toward virtual social networks and among these variables, the amount of internet usage plays a more important role in their tendency toward virtual social networks.Using variance linear combination of independent variables, 52/1% of the variance could explain the tendency to virtual social networks.
