Description:
Non-human primate is the essential experimental systems in toxicology division since their homology for human make more reliable evaluation of toxicities than any other non-rodent species. Captive monkeys housed in individual-cage can be observed of the bizarre behavior such as self-biting behavior, stereotypical behavior, over-grooming, aggressive expression and so on. In those cases, many parameters can be affected to evaluate toxicology study results by monkey's condition such as stress, decrease of food consumption, body weight loss, hematological parameters and serum biochemistry parameters.
