Initially, the brand will be used to launch a range of desserts, but insiders say it has been devised to sit across various products, including drinks and supplements. Danone is in the process of divesting itself of some of its businesses as it focuses on its water, yogurt and biscuit products. Earlier this month it agreed to sell its Amoy Asian food unit to Japanese company Ajinomoto.
