  • Description: The article presents assumptions for teaching entrepreneurship as a key competence in Polish secondary schools. The author refers to the general and specific objectives of the subject “Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship” included in the current core curriculum for secondary schools and analyses the results of studies on the knowledge and competences of entrepreneurship among Polish students as well as studies on the evaluation of lessons on this subject conducted in schools. Moreover, the paper describes innovative projects supporting entrepreneurship education in secondary schools and recommendations of various entities on how to improve the quality of education in this area.
