Description:
The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) by segmenting the epicardium and the endocardium in a heart image and extracting the thickness of the heart wall. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is the method for diagnosing HCM using artificial intelligence (AI), comprising: a step of acquiring a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) image on a heart of a subject; a step of segmenting the epicardium and the endocardium of the heart in the MRI image by using a neural network; a step of extracting one or more bio markers corresponding to the thickness of the heart wall through the segmented epicardium and endocardium; and a step of comparing the bio markers with a preset value and diagnosing HCM. Therefore, the reliability of a diagnosis can be increased. 본 발명은, 심장 영상에서 심외막과 심내막을 분할하여 심벽의 두께를 추출하여 이를 통해 비후성 심근병증을 진단하는 방법에 관한 것으로써, 본 발명의 예시적인 실시예는 대상체의 심장에 대한 자기공명영상을 획득하는 단계와 상기 자기공명영상에서 상기 심장의 심외막(Epicardium)과 심내막(Endocardium)을 신경망을 이용하여 분할(Segmentation)하는 단계와 상기 분할된 심외막과 심내막을 통해 심벽의 두께에 대응되는 적어도 하나 이상의 바이오 마커를 추출하는 단계 및 상기 바이오 마커를 기 설정된 값과 비교하여 비후성 심근병증(Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, HCM)을 진단하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인공지능을 이용한 비후성 심근병증 진단방법을 제공한다.
