  • Description: It is made by grinding in a satd. steam atmospheres at 100 deg.C or higher. The pulp is sluiced out warm and collected in a sterile package without being contaminated with lignocellulose destructive fungi or bacteria. The package is then sealed so that the pulp cannot come into contact with the surrounding. Used for packaging mechanical or chemi-mechanical pulps so that they can be stored or transported in damp condtions. (Provisional Basic previously advised in Week 83-37)
