  • Description: Following the suppression of the Jesuits in 1773, the faculties of the University of Genoa have developed within the various political administrations that have governed that part of Italy. Today, the core of the 11 faculties is in the center of Genoa, although there are courses in the other provincial capitals of Liguria. Bochicchio provides a brief and preliminary survey on the University of Genoa's artistic and historical heritage.
