  • Description: Southeast Florida's real estate market still draws investors and tenants, despite a lack of new construction and easily obtainable financing. W. R. Grace Inc.'s move to South Florida takes advantage of the area's growing popularity among Northeast companies. Grace signed a 15-year lease with Crocker & Co. (Boca Raton) for 200,000 sq. ft. in Crocker Tower to relocate its corporate headquarters. South Florida's industrial front offers one of the best opportunities in the region's real estate, according to a report by Cushman & Wakefield. Meanwhile, commercial land sales fell during the first quarter of 1991. In land sales, developers are offering brokers lucrative incentives.
