  • Description: In the trust literature integrity, competence, consistency, loyalty and openness are determined as the qualities that affect the trust (Gabarro, 1978; Butler and Cantrel, 1984; Schindler and Thomas, 1993). The aim of this research is based on the Butler and Cantrell’s (1984) study, to determine future managerial positions that will take place on the students' hypothetical subordinates to determine which trust qualities they give priority. In the research applied to senior students of Business Administration Departments of two State Universities in Ankara, the five qualities that are presumed to affect the trust for the subordinate are determined whether they do or not through the Hierarchical Regression Anlaysis. At the end of the analysis, the five qualities that effects on trust and their intensities are determined by regression coefficients and the varıables and their levels of effect on trust are respectively lined up as integrity, competence, openness, loyalty and consistency.
