  • Description: PURPOSE:To provide the bamboo grass/bamboo paper capable of exhibiting effects such as forest bathing, deodorization and air purification and capable of being used in various fields such as filter paper and wall paper for preventing sounds and reducing electromagnetic waves. CONSTITUTION:Dried bamboo grasses and/or bamboos are cut into 5-10mm long pieces with a cutter, etc., and a proper amount of the cut pieces are fed in a heat-resistant vessel containing water, mixed with sodium hydroxide in an amount of 20wt.% based on the weight of the fed cut pieces, and subsequently the mixture is boiled for approximately 3-6hr. When lignin in the bamboo glass/bamboo is eluted to facilitate the decomposition of the cellulose tissues, the pulp is washed with water for the removal of the alkali, subjected to the decomposition of the pulp tissues and subsequently dried to produce the bamboo grass/bamboo dry fibers. 100 pts.wt. of water, 20 pts.wt. of the bamboo grass/bamboo fibers, 1 pt.wt. of the solution of hydrangea paniculata Sieb. 1-5 pts.wt. of bamboo grass/bamboo powder having a particle size of 100-300 mesh, and 1-5 pts.wt. of diatomaceous earth powder are mixed with each other, and subsequently sufficiently stirred to produce a fiber suspension. The fiber suspension is processed into paper on a paper-producing net, dehydrated and dried to provide the bamboo grass/bamboo paper.
