  • Description: The research results showed that the majority of surveyed adolescents (approximately 80%) continue to be participants (victims, perpetrators or witnesses) in school violence. The implementation of a training program aimed at increasing the level of skills (knowledge, abilities, attitudes) in the field of child protection will contribute to the creation of a safe educational environment. The article presents teachers’ knowledge and skills self-assessment results in the field of creating a safe space in schools, presented comparatively for teachers’ pre- and after participation in the Professional Skills Training Program, which has been shown to be effective.
