  • Description: The invention relates to meteorology.The method for predicting the type of precipitation from cumulonimbus clouds includes the definition of radar and thermodynamic parameters of cumulonimbus clouds, calculation on their basis of maximum rate of rising streams Wmax and parameter K, representing the ratio between the magnitude of the hail particles growth layer and the magnitude of the melting layer, the prediction being based on the obtained data, which are compared with the multipass experimental data reflecting the dependence of the type of precipitation - torrential rain, ice grains, hail, on the maximum rate of rising streams Wmax and parameter K. Invenţia se referă la meteorologie.Procedeul de prognozare a tipului de precipitaţii din nori cumulonimbus prevede determinarea caracteristicilor radiolocaţionale şi termodinamice ale norilor cumulonimbus, calcularea pe baza acestora a vitezei maxime a curenţilor ascendenţi Wmax şi a parametrului K, care reprezintă raportul dintre mărimea stratului unde se produce creşterea boabelor de grindină şi mărimea stratului unde are loc topirea lor, totodată prognozarea se efectuează în baza datelor obţinute, care se compară cu datele experimentale multianuale, ce reflectă dependenţa tipului de precipitaţii - ploaie aversă, măzăriche, grindină, de viteza maximă a curenţilor ascendenţi Wmax şi parametrul K.
