  • Description: Today, populism is dynamically and unexpectedly back on the agenda. Against the background of traditional populist mobilizations, the last two decades have been marked by a global resurgence of populism. The symptoms of this resurgence are many and they are, once more, scattered around the globe. Today, this revival is being intensified and has perhaps reached its zenith with its core being situated, temporally, after the breakout of the global financial crisis (2008) and spatially, within the Eurozone, especially in those countries that have been put under supervision, like Greece.
